Vallisneria is a rosette-forming aquatic plant with strap-like, linear leaves that grow straight from the base and often reach the water's surface. Some species grow tall and wide (e.g., Jungle Val), while others are more slender (e.g., Italian Val). It thrives in both low- and high-tech tanks and adapts well to a range of freshwater conditions.
